Out to challenge, test some kit and experience wildcamp on highest point of area. 8k uphill trek to ancient ironage hill-top fort. Wild camp bivvy for the night on hill edge, good visual vantage point being least visible, least wind, practical ground space position. Slept in one man hooped tunnel tent under sit up under camo netted tarp. Bright stary night until 2am then the cloud, wind and rain came over and hammered it down on and off for 4 hrs. Tarp angle positioned to deflect weather elements as best as possible from all directions whilst keeping practicallity and sit up bivvy space. Got togged up with hot chocolate drink (nice) prepared on my faithful Coleman Dual Fuel 533 one man stove, bit heavier than your pocket rocket or general gas tin cooker, but I don't mind carrying it - up to 4hrs cooking with a half Ltr fill, without carrying a load of gas tins. Good times outdoors.

A tunnel tent is a very popular style tent, for many reasons. There are many different variations out there of them, but you will be able to find one that suits your needs. It is just another style of tent that you can find out there, and it lives up to its name. It is in the shape of a tunnel. You can use them for many different things. They are great like many other normal tents, for camping. You can use them as a little playground for your children. Or you can even use them as a place for your pets to play in, particularly cats.
If you want a tunnel tent for camping, then you need to realise that there are quite a few disadvantages and advantages. If you are someone who struggles to set up their tent, then a tunnel tent might be the choice for you. They are one of the easiest types of tents to set up, and you will be able to do it in minutes, without much hlp.
It has a distinctive design, which s very easy to work with. The great thing about them is that they are very roomy. They have a large internal height, thanks to the rings that they use for the outer of the tent, which means you will always have a lot of room to stand in. How big the tent is depends entirely on how big the rings are, so if you are looking for a large tent then you need to get one with large rings in it. The disadvantage of them is that they are not the most stable tents going around. If you stake it out correctly then you will have no problem, however if you don't you might be in trouble. They are great for rain and snow because of the round shape, it will just fall off it and it won't pile up. This could be the tent for you if you are looking for a reasonably stable one, with a lot of room, and very easy and quick to set up.They also come for your kids and your pets to play in.
They are very safe for your kids, and they make a lot of fun. They have a safe place to play hide and seek, and they really enjoy it. If you have very active kids then this might be a great present for the next Christmas.
