3/4 season Backpacking Tent 2.5kg ish..feels much lighter though! Fast Pitch...although inner 1st Seems a HQ tent, 1st impressions are good!...Strong yet light alloy poles, all 3 same size so no worries getting mixed up.. single black alloy pole for hooped porch...which is massive BTW!..buy a 10l drybag though, the sack is rubbish and nearly twice the size of the stuffed up tent!! Terra Nova stated to me in an e-mail..."Its suitable for most UK weather in all seasons, although they wouldnt recommend using it in Scotland during winter" Ive not worried about fixing all the guylines and some pegging points, was just a vid to show the general look and setup really...plus my garden doesnt seem to get force ten gales that often!lol Ive made a 2nd vid showing a quick exterior look and inside/porch views. Ill keep a note of how it performs and post more vids as i go. Thanks for watching. Ant :o)

This is a backpacking trek a subscriber/friend of mine Randy, and I, took this weekend up icehouse canyon mount baldy to test out some new gear. Including my new favorite tent, the tera nova solar elite and his cook set. both are great. We didn't expect so much snow, as the rangers told up some misguiding info. Just goes to show, always go prepared. We made the most of it, had some fun, a few laughs and saw some cool stuff. He and I will surely do another trek together soon. In my opinion, the tent is awesome! If rained on, you can roll your bag, stuff your sleeping pad and get everything ready, then open the door and stuff it all in your pack, put your pack in a large trash bag and exit the fly to unesseble the tent it self. Oh yeah, and the cd in the car was Discoteca Alveria, a Russian group.
