Watchet Live Music Festival 2010






www.watchetfestival.co.uk Watchet Festival 2010 - The music festival weekend runs over the August Bank Holiday weekend, on Parsonage Farm in Watchet. This is a family friendly festival with the main stage sat in a beautiful landscape, looking right out over the west Somerset coastline and beyond, on site camping, 2 stages, Open mic tent, Something else tea tent, a food court, workshops, real ale and cider bar, and kids corner. The 2010 watchet festival line-up includes The Bad Shepherds, The Beat, Tom Hingley, Spearmint, My Winehouse, The Stones, VooDoo, Barry Paul, The Confused, Shoot the Moon, Grove Grinder, The Occupants of the Hedgerow, Zoltar Speaks, The Pyrates, The Monaros, Penthouse Shed, and Surfin' Turnips. Plus many more still to be confirmed for the line-up of 30+ acts, an open mic tent, and a host of South West DJ's. There's three distinct days: Tribute Night (Friday), Original Music (Saturday), and Pirate Fancy Dress (Sunday). Croissant Neuf at Watchet For the first time green event leaders Croissant Neuf are having a presence at the Watchet Festival which will mean one third of the festival will be solar powered. The second stage will be run by Croissant Neuf which has run the stage in the Greenfield's site at Glastonbury Festival and will host a wide range of acts, DJs', and workshops.
